Hero Photography ▾
16:9 and master hero imagery for website and article headers. HERO-06 (Connected Futures) is the website hero in use; HERO-07 (Dual Athlete) is the campaign cover. Master heroes are supplied in seven formats for every channel.
1:1 imagery for square social and profile placements, 1800x1800 at 300dpi. The male and female sets mirror each other subject-for-subject so any placement can be gender-balanced.
16:9 ecosystem collages with a Gulf / Middle East flavour, extending the Story series (KIV-STORY-07-ME through 17-ME). Emirati and African subjects, connected-globe motif, Africa and Middle East data panels, Dubai skyline. Native 1672×941, 300dpi.
The crossing icons and the master mark. The primary Athlete, Learning, Marketplace and Workforce icons are the dimensional gold marks on transparent backgrounds; -REV variants are for use on charcoal, and the ring versions match the master mark for badge and app-tile use.
The four crossing icons as coloured badges, on circle and rounded square, plus a labelled square with the crossing name inside (Instrument Sans, matching THE CROSSING). Grounds: Athlete charcoal, Learning sand, Workforce sage, Marketplace gold. 1500² · 300dpi.
The Kivuko logo suite: emblem, horizontal and stacked lockups, with reversed variants for dark backgrounds. The B2B lockup (with the Podium Pursuit wordmark and the gateway line) is the logo used in the Podium Pursuit and Athlete Economy environment; the standalone Kivuko lockup is for Kivuko's own fan-facing contexts.
The Kivuko wordmark in Inter Display SemiBold with THE CROSSING in Instrument Sans. Standalone (Kivuko + The Crossing, or Kivuko alone), the Podium Pursuit endorsed lockup, the full lockup with the "Beyond the Podium. Into the Arena" tagline, and the primary gold-Crossing lockup. Each in charcoal and gold for light grounds, parchment for dark grounds.
Call-to-action buttons for the website and marketing materials. Eight labels (Join the Waitlist, Register, Get Started, Explore Courses, Learn More, Post a Job, Explore Careers, Sign In) in three styles: solid gold (primary), solid charcoal, and charcoal outline (secondary). Rounded pills in Inter Display SemiBold with a directional arrow. Plus the kivuko.io URL tab in charcoal, gold and parchment.
The launch execution in full, across both content streams: the Podium Pursuit 12-week editorial campaign, the Kivuko 15-week campaign calendar, the newsletter programme, the launch runway, campaign posts and finished launch artwork. Every downloadable asset lives on the Landing tab.
Two separate, concurrent plans. This content runs as two distinct streams that go out at the same time to different audiences. They are colour-coded throughout, navy for Podium Pursuit, gold for Kivuko, and never mixed. Use the switch below to view one plan at a time, or see both.
Plan A · Podium Pursuit
The 12-Week Editorial Campaign
Audience: the Podium Pursuit network
Podium Pursuit introduces Kivuko to its own network as the next expansion of the Athlete Economy. This is a separate plan from the Kivuko campaign, running concurrently to the same 22 October launch. Everything in this navy-bordered block is Podium Pursuit content.
The Two Streams, in One Line Each
Stream 1 · Kivuko
Kivuko · The Crossing in its own voice, to the open market: the sporting workforce, athletes, organisations and learners across Africa and the Gulf. Message: sport is a workforce, now it has a front door. This is the full campaign calendar shown below.
Stream 2 · Podium Pursuit
Podium Pursuit introducing Kivuko to its own network: the 6,000+ athlete base, federations, partners and followers. Message: the Athlete Economy is getting bigger. Podium Pursuit put the athlete at the centre; Kivuko opens the opportunity ecosystem around them. From Week 5 of launch, Podium Pursuit shifts from introducer to amplifier while Kivuko's own campaigns lead.
Shared, both streams
Cleared figures only: 147 roles across nine sectors, 54 courses with 30 free to start, 6,000+ elite African athletes across 62 nations and 47 disciplines. Answer-first openings, one consistent entity line, no inflated numbers. Full finished copy for both streams lives in the launch brief pack (Kivuko runway and Podium Pursuit article and post set).
Week 1 · The Next Chapter
Begin with Podium Pursuit. Why an athlete economy inevitably includes the people and organisations around athletes. Tease that the ecosystem is expanding.
Begin with Podium Pursuit. Why an athlete economy inevitably includes the people and organisations around athletes. Tease that the ecosystem is expanding.
Week 2 · The Unseen Workforce
Shift the lens from the athlete to the coaches, medical teams, analysts, media, events and commercial professionals behind sport.
Africa × Middle East: A New Corridor for Sports Talent and Opportunity
Call to action
Connect to Opportunity
Story Purpose
African talent and capability meeting the developing Middle Eastern sports economy, and ultimately global opportunity.
Week 12 · Brand Manifesto and Launch

In October 2026, sport across Africa and the Gulf gets something it has never had: a single, verified marketplace for the people who make it run.
It is called Kivuko, Swahili for a crossing place. A marketplace and a skills-building engine covering 62 nations, where talent crosses into work and rises.
The job board is already live. Full registration opens in October. If you want to be one of the first across, join the waitlist now, link in bio.

Why build this now? Because of what is coming to this corridor, and who will have to staff it.
In 2026, Dakar hosts the Youth Olympic Games, the first Olympic event on African soil. In 2030, Morocco co-hosts the World Cup. In 2034, Saudi Arabia hosts it. Between them, the Gulf runs a year-round events calendar of its own.
Every one of those events runs on a skilled workforce that currently has no organised place to be found. Kivuko opens in October to change that. Join the waitlist.

Why is it so hard to hire for sport roles across Africa and the Gulf? Because the tools were built for volume, not for fit.
Post a role on a general board and you get a hundred applications, every credential self-declared, every CV written to beat a keyword filter. All of the screening still sits with you.
Kivuko is the alternative: a maintained register, profiles verified before you see them, scored against the role. The board is live now, so you can post a role today. Full matching opens in October.

Pre-launch article
What Is Kivuko, and Why Now?
Kivuko is a sport-careers marketplace and skills-building engine for Africa and the Gulf, opening fully in October 2026, with its job board already live. It exists because sport across these 62 nations is a workforce without a register: no organised place where verified, available talent can be found by the organisations that need it.
Ask most people what jobs exist in sport and they name the ones on the field. Almost nobody names the analyst, the producer, the physiotherapist, the event crew or the commercial team behind them. Yet those roles are the majority of the work, and across Africa and the Gulf they are filled through word of mouth and closed networks. Good people never hear about the work. Organisations spend weeks filling a role a verified register could fill in days.
Kivuko fixes the supply side. It defines the work first: 147 roles across nine sectors, each carrying its required skills against a controlled vocabulary of 51 terms, so a role in one market is genuinely comparable to a role in another, and a career-changer can be scored honestly against a role they have never formally held. On top of that sits verification, a readiness score, and a curated catalogue of 54 courses that name the exact gap between where someone is and the role they want.
The timing is not arbitrary. Dakar hosts the Youth Olympic Games in 2026, Morocco co-hosts the World Cup in 2030, and Saudi Arabia hosts it in 2034. The workforce those events require is being built now, and it needs somewhere to be found. That is what opens in October.
Between now and then, there are two things you can do. If you work in sport, or want to, join the waitlist so you are among the first to register. If you hire, the board is already live, so you can post a role today.

WEEK minus 2 · THE PROBLEM, AND THE FIX
The Case
Goal: make the problem undeniable to both sides, hiring is broken, being found is broken, and position the waitlist and the live board as the fix. This is the week the organisation call to action steps forward.
Sport Is a Workforce. Why It Has Never Had a Register.
Sport is a workforce, and across Africa and the Gulf it is a workforce without a register: no organised place where verified, available talent can be found by the organisations that need it. That single gap is why hiring in sport here still runs on WhatsApp groups and word of mouth, and why so much talent stays invisible.
Behind every match day is a workforce that never appears on the broadcast. Media and content teams cover it. Operations staff run it. Commercial managers fund it. Medical and performance professionals protect the athletes. Coaches and technical staff prepare them. Name them all and you are well past a hundred distinct roles. Kivuko counts 147 across nine sectors.
A register has never existed for a simple reason: nobody defined the work in a shared language first. A job called one thing at a club in Nairobi is called something else at an event company in Riyadh, so the two were never comparable and no register could hold them both. Kivuko starts there, with a controlled vocabulary of 51 skills that every one of the 147 roles is mapped against. That is what lets the same profile be scored fairly across markets, and what lets experience from an adjacent industry count properly instead of being ignored.
For organisations, the effect is that volume becomes a shortlist. Instead of a hundred self-declared CVs to screen, a verified, scored pool that has been checked before it reaches you. For the workforce, it means one profile, built once, that travels for the rest of a career in sport, and an honest map of the single thing standing between you and the role you want.
The board is live now, so organisations can post roles today. Individual registration and the readiness score open in October. Until then, the waitlist is how you reserve your place.
Kivuko is the sport-careers marketplace and skills-building engine for the Athlete Economy and Podium Pursuit. kivuko.io
WEEK minus 1 · LAST CALL BEFORE THE DOORS OPEN
The Countdown
Goal: convert the warmed audience with urgency. The register opens next week. Everyone on the waitlist gets a personal link first. Last call to be first across, and a final push for organisations to seed the board.
To be first across when Kivuko opens in October, do one of two things now, depending on which side of the crossing you are on. If you work in sport or want to, join the waitlist. If you hire for sport, post a role on the board, which is already live.
Here is what joining the waitlist gets you. On the first day of registration, everyone on the list receives a personal link before any public announcement goes out. You build your profile ahead of the rush, and you are visible to organisations from day one rather than weeks later. There is no cost, and nothing is asked of you now beyond your name and how to reach you.
For organisations, the board does not wait for October. The Workforce Crossing marketplace is live at marketplace.kivuko.io, and the Post a Job route lets you submit a sport-industry role today. It is reviewed and published to a board already seen by talent across the Gulf, with African roles being added. Posting now means your role is in front of the first wave of verified candidates the moment they arrive.
When full registration opens, the rest follows: a verified profile built once and carried for a career, a Match Readiness Score out of 100 against any of 147 roles, the single factor holding that score back named plainly, and the specific course that closes it from a catalogue of 54, with 30 free to start. Registration is free and stays free, because Kivuko earns from the hiring side, not from the people looking for work.
Two actions, one deadline. Join the waitlist, or post a role. Both take a few minutes, and both put you at the front when the doors open.
Kivuko is the sport-careers marketplace and skills-building engine for the Athlete Economy and Podium Pursuit. kivuko.io
Handoff into the launch runway. At the end of Week minus 1, the waitlist is the asset that makes the launch convert instead of starting cold: a named list, segmented by audience, ready to receive a personal go-live link on day one. That day-one moment is Week 1 of the Launch Runway below.
